«RTF for pilots» application New!ADD TO CART
Day-to-day instructions for pilots in a controlled aerodrome.
You know the right answer to be given by the pilot, but are you sure it corresponds to ICAO's standardised phraseology?
This is the kind of question answered in the new "RTF for pilots" application.
An instruction a day, provided by an ATC in a controlled aerodrome - but only one answer corresponds perfectly to ICAO's standardised phraseology.
Did you know? Very good! If not, the new application will help you get your radio telephony knowledge up to the latest ICAO standards.
This application enables you to practice quick, brief and efficient readbacks using standardised phraseology in English and German.
The application boasts the following functions:
Learning guide system
ATC and Pilot Audio files
Sub-divided into Correct/Not correct
RTF in German and English
The application includes the following settings:
The next page is displayed by shaking the phone or touching the screen.
The sheets are presented either as sequences or randomly.
Audio files are activated automatically or by touching the screen. They can be deactivated if necessary.
Files are sub-divided by swiping the screen: "correct" (swipe upwards) and "not correct" (swipe downwards).
Example in the event of conditional clearance.
In the event of conditional clearance, the word BEHIND must be said at the beginning of the readback, then used again at the very end of the sentence.
The ATC starts a "closed question" with the word CONFIRM.
"Closed questions" can only be answered by Yes or No - i.e. confirmation or negation - and must be ended with the call sign.
